Once upon a time (as in back in January, don't judge) we were asked by Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom Magazine to chip in some of our advice about new trends we thought would make their way into the wedding world this year. Melissa Nickle - the one who runs the show here at Blossom Sweet - gave her two cents on the topic:
"I want to see more metallic and industrial elements used in the floral details, such as the bridal bouquet’s handle treatment, the groomsmen boutonnieres, or the centerpiece vessels. As long as this concept is done right and isn’t too “in your face,” the result could prove to be modern, stunning, and unexpected, especially in the right venue and with the right bride."
Here are some examples of the above thoughts as seen in the fashion world (which we would be thrilled to incorporate into our work):
We're loving chains and other industrial-type elements being made GLAM! And who doesn't love some sparkle & glitz? Again, if there are any brides out there who want to translate this fashion look into their floral design concepts, Blossom Sweet is on board one hundred percent!
