wedding previews!

You guys... you guys.  We had the most incredible wedding this past weekend.  Think decadent designs, vibrant colors, asymmetrical arrangements.  Can't wait to share it with you when we get the photos.

But let's focus on the present for now.  For our next few posts we are going to be sharing a photo or two featuring sneak peeks from some of our recent weddings.

The first sneak peek comes from a wedding we did a couple of weeks ago which was tropical-themed.  It was kind of fun to do because we don't get that many requests for this specific style.  The bride wanted shades of fuchsia, bright red, and orange, with accents of yellow and lime green.  I think we were successful at achieving that look!  Enjoy a photo of her lovely bouquet:

flowers used in the bouquet:  oncidium orhids, peonies, callas, stock, anthurium, bird of paradise, roses (two varieties), celosia, silver dollar eucalyptus, and hanging amaranthus.

rentals: vintage doors

Did you know that we offer a lot of rental options to clients and non-clients alike?  No?  Well... we certainly do!

One thing we rent out are distressed vintage doors.  We have a set of six that are the same size, and one that is slightly shorter/skinnier.  One side of the doors is a cream color (which is what most people use), and the other is brown.

Here is an example of the doors used in a ceremony setting
(the stands we rent out are slightly different):

And another example of the doors used to hang one of our fresh wreaths as a reception focal piece:

The options are endless.  The rental rates are as follows
(price does not include delivery but that can be arranged if needed):

Blossom Sweet Client Rate:  $25/door
Non-Client Rate:  $32.50/door

We will post other rental options every now and then.  But if you have questions about what we rent please contact us - we'd be happy to chat.  Just ask for Melissa.

sundance bouquet sneak peek

Please pardon our blogging absence for the past week, we had four weddings in seven days!  Needless to say every ounce of our attention has been focused on our events as of late.

Last month we had a gorgeous mountain wedding up at Sundance Resort.  The event managed to be rustic and feminine at the same time, with things like birch wrapped vases juxtaposed with a color scheme of ivories and soft pinks.  A great combo in our opinion.

We will be getting some of the professional photos at some point, but we did snag a few of our own before the wedding and wanted to share a quick sneak peek with you.

Enjoy a few photos of the bride's bouquet:

flowers/elements used in bouquet:  dahlias, standard roses (2 varieties), spray roses, tulips, veronica, curly willow, berzelia, lisianthus, bi-color ranunculus, football mums, variegated pitt, silver dollar eucalyptus, and scabiosa pods.  Finished with a burlap wrap and lace overlay.

the shoot seen 'round the world

We had two gorgeous weddings last week and two more lovelies coming up this week.  Geesh, wedding season is bus-ay!  And we do so love it.

Remember the recent sneak peeks we posted about this year's Utah Bride Blog Spring Inspiration Shoot which we were a part of?  Well, we haven't even had time to post the whole shoot here on the blog, but it is being seen all over the world!  Here are just a few of the places it has been seen lately:

We promise we're not starving for attention, but it is nice (and incredibly flattering) to get a tasty little bite of it now and then.

P.S. Reminder that tomorrow is the deadline to place your order for Mother's Day.  Don't miss out!

Happy May!  Let's start out today's post with a new photo of the month which screams "spring" to us.  Love it!

As you know, a certain mom-loving holiday is coming up next week, and we have received several calls for Mother's Day arrangements (wise children know that mothers love pretty flowers!).  Although we are an event floral company, we occasionally make exceptions for "everyday" design orders.  This Mother's Day we are happy to do this for you if the following stipulations are met:

  • Deliveries must be in the general Provo/Orem area (call if you have questions about where we can deliver).
  • Deliveries can be made on Thursday, May 10th, Friday, May 11th, or Saturday, May 12th.
  • Orders must be placed by Tuesday, May 8th.

We will be offering three standard sizes of mixed spring arrangements and can take payments over the phone:

  • $50 spring mix (floral wrap, NO VASE)
  • $75 spring mix (vase arrangement)
  • $150 spring mix (vase arrangement)
  • We can accommodate larger custom orders as well.

To place your Mother's Day Order please call us at 801.669.4646.

Free delivery on orders $150+, otherwise delivery charges are as follows:

Provo/Springville delivery charge:  $6
Orem/Lindon delivery charge: $10
Delivery charges to other nearby surrounding areas vary
