{mother i love you, mother i do}

My mother is my best friend, simple as that. I am the oldest of six children in my family, and the only girl! That being said, my mom and I have always been extremely close. Even if moms came custom-ordered, I couldn't possibly do any better than the mom I already have. She is selfless, hard-working, full of love for everyone around her, funny, smart, a leader, completely in love with my dad, and let's not forget she's smokin hot! Enjoy a few photos that will prove my last statement.

This is my favorite picture of my mom as a little girl. Lovely little Melanie Kate.

Mom and Dad on their wedding day, June 24, 1983.
Couple of hotties, I say.

Courtesy of 1990...CLASSIC. I still remember this day! We've always been little buddies.
I love you, Mom!

I also wanted to give a small tribute to the other 'mothers' in my life, both of my dear grandmothers.

My beautiful Nannie on her wedding day. Born and bred Southern, my Nannie and Papa met and dated in an area of South Carolina which was in my mission boundaries. Special, huh! I sure do love my Southern Nannie!
And last but certainly not least, my gorgeous Grandma Nickle. I just love her to bits and she is such a good example to me. This week I was supposed to copy a photo from her wedding but unfortunately she has been sick all week and so I couldn't get it in time. I will post it as soon as I get it! Feel better, Grandma!
♥HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!♥

1 sweet thought{s}:

Brendon and Stephanie said...

Random comment, but you remember how I wrote a song for Kevin? It was to "Mother I Love You, Mother I Do." Guess what I thought about when the primary children stood up to sing that song? You guessed it "Kevin, I love you...Kevin I do..." Pathetic. Don't worry, Brendon knows about my pathetic-ness.

I thought you of all people would appreciate that story.
