{alex and brian}

Alex and Brian were married on December 30th- my final event of 2008. It was a good way to finish out the year! Alex is completely adorable. Even though she was having a winter wedding, she hoped for yellow flowers because they are her absolute favorite. And I was fully supportive of her love of yellow even in December- when it's your wedding you should do what you love!

The remainder of the pics in this post are my own shots. 'Real' photos to come soon! Enjoy!

Lovin' it, lovin' it.
I had to get some shots of the bouquet in the beautiful snow outside my house. Lovely.

I loved the details that made even yellow flowers look 'wintery'. Cedar for the greenery, pine cones throughout the design, chocolate brown branches... what's not to love?

I think it looks very appropriate for a winter wedding. And the icy snow is fitting since Alex and Brian are quite the snow bunnies- they went snowboarding in CO for their honeymoon!

Each centerpiece was a collage of three vases wrapped in ribbon and gold wire, and also featured pine cones all throughout. Good design is in the details, darling.
And p.s., I was digging the 'tent feel' on the ceiling.
